Old Spice’s new campaign is genuinely self-ironic (not sure if that’s really a word in English), brave, funny and has pretty innovative co-branding (with Ferrell’s new movie, Semi-Pro); great fit with the product. Customer-participationwise, the “vote to unlock exclusive videos” is a very good idea indeed. Low-barrier to participation + great reward = lots of positive w-o-m.
